Marc Turner serves as the Vice President for the Sigma Zeta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and has chaired one of the fraternity’s national programs, Project Alpha, since 2014. Marc Turner originally hails from Westchester County, NY. He has been a resident of Union County over the past eight years after relocating from the South with his family.
Marc graduated from Winston Salem State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from High Point University. He has worked across various business sectors at Fortune Global 500 companies in human resources leadership roles. In addition to navigating his professional career, Marc has represented the SZL chapter in partnering with local organizations to drive several community outreach initiatives in Morris County. Some of those organizations include the March of Dimes, George Gramby Observance Committee, Neighborhood House and Our Youth Their Future. When he’s not working or volunteering in the community, Marc enjoys spending time with his wife and son. His favorite hobbies include taking his son to youth sports activities, going to the movies, exercising, reading, and watching America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys, play on Sundays, during the Fall and Winter seasons.
